Uses & Care

CAST ALUMINUM COOKWARE WITH NON-STICK COATING

Berndes uses only non-stick coatings that have been tested and proven to be the toughest, and to have longevity for years of service.

Before first use, rinse and rub with a little cooking oil.

Energy efficient cookware requires medium to low heat for optimum efficiency.

To maintain your high quality cookware avoid using metal utensils, sharp edges, metal pointed utensils or cutting on the cooking surface to avoid scratches and cuts. Wood, plastic and nylon utensils are recommended.

Easy cleaning with water and a sponge. If you use dish detergent rub cooking surface with a few drops of oil, prior to using again.

Cast handles are oven proof to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Phenolic handles are oven proof to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Do not use wood or phenolic handles under the broiler.

Use mild abrasive cleaners; do not use steel wool, wire or scouring pads on pots and pans. Plastic and nylon scrub pads are safe to use.

Dishwasher-safe. We recommend rubbing cooking surface with cooking oil after washing in dishwasher to activate the non-stick properties.

Burned Foods: Soak and wash in warm water. Use mild abrasive cleaners such as: Bon Ami, Cameo and Kleen King. Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners, it will scratch and dull the surface.

Do not allow anything to boil/cook dry in your cookware.

NEVER LEAVE COOKWARE UNATTENDED DURING COOKING.
